The Stepping Stones behavioral health treatment program for children and adolescents at CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia offers a unique inpatient program to help youth who are struggling with emotional problems and substance abuse. CenterPointe provides an ideal place for youth who are struggling with the challenges faced by our youth today. Our physicians and clinicians have proudly served and successfully treated hundreds of youth and their loved ones facing crisis situations. Each youth is immediately assessed and stabilized by our caring and competent team of psychiatrists, nurses, pediatricians, licensed social workers, and therapists. When the youth has been stabilized, we will work with the youth and his or her family to create a plan of care. Our Stepping Stones treatment team has created a healing, stable, and safe environment that will allow the youth to recover, develop insights into his or her challenges, and learn the skills needed to lead a happy, healthy life. Each youth will be offered a variety of therapeutic techniques to assist in his or her recovery. These may include individual therapy, group therapy, life skills training, and family sessions. At CenterPointe, we’ll help your youth reach his or her maximum potential and heal from the challenges associated with being a young person.
